On May 19th, Juniors Lilly Morrissey and Megan O'Connor organized a joint day of service and leadership for students from Gwynedd Mercy Academy and La Salle College High School. This event marked the first collaboration between the two institutions, focusing on shared values taught throughout their education.

Throughout the school year, many Gwynedd students have participated in internships. All student interns must complete 50 hours by the end of the school year, and they will be recognized at the reception in May.

On March 14th, the Leadership Development Council hosted its first fair to present its Passion Pitch Projects.

Lead4Change is a program that aims to empower youth to become leaders in their communities. The program teaches its members a variety of leadership skills including effective communication, teamwork, perseverance, 还有一种责任感.

On Saturday, March 2nd, Sophia Desantis ‘24 and Mia Hudak ‘24 volunteered at the Simon’s Heart Soiree at Lincoln Financial Field. This event highlighted the great work of the Simon’s Heart Foundation and its mission to raise awareness about cardiac arrest in children.

On January 17th Trumark hosted a Reality Fair for students in the McHugh Gymnasium. The fair aimed to educate Gwynedd’s students on becoming financially stable adults, 更好地为他们上大学和成年做好准备.

在12月, Gwynedd’s Leadership Development Committee (LDC) worked tirelessly on creating proposals for a project titled “包容性领导力." This project gave the girls an opportunity to pitch a leadership project based on a topic of interest for their group such as social media, athletics, STEM, music, service, etc.

Gwynedd’s annual coat drive is a result of senior Ava Kolp’s hard work and is inspired by her “Gwynedd Gives Warmth” Lead4Change project. She created this project to benefit members of the community while incorporating the Critical Concern of Earth.
